Register I: SPANISH STATE REGISTERED
PURE-BRED HISPANO-ÁRABE (Há)
a) Pure-bred Hispano-Árabe horses registered with the Spanish State Authority Stud Book held by the UEGHá are automatically eligible. Application for registration must be accompanied by a bona fide
photocopy of the Spanish Papers.
b) Pure-bred horses born to parents of registered and qualified breeding. Parents are considered valid
only if they are Pure-Bred Hispano-Árabe, Pure-Bred Spanish or Pure-Bred Arabian, and inscribed in the
corresponding Stud Books, and qualified as eligible for breeding, according to the rules of each breed.
Currently the rules of the Pure Bred Arabian do not require grading for Arabians to breed.

Register II: ANGLO HISPANO-ÁRABE /TRES SANGRE (AHá)
Part-bred Anglo Hispano-Árabe horses born to parents of Register I Hispano-Árabe and registered
Thoroughbred. Breed specific passports with full pedigree will be provided for foal inscriptions through
Hispano-Árabe UK from the Sport Horse of Great Britain who will register these horses as Sports Horses
eligible for grading under the regulations of that Association.
Register III
: PART-BRED HISPANO-ÁRABE
All Part-Bre Horses included in this Register must be able to prove a minimum of 25% Pure-Bred
Hispano-Árabe State Registered Blood, by producing relevant documents.
a) Part-bred Horses, which have their Pure-Bred Hispano-Árabe ancestry fully registered with the
Spanish State Authority are automatically eligible. Application for registration must be accompanied by
a bona fide photocopy of the Spanish papers, a copy of the registration papers of the other parent,
and a record of all changes of ownership since birth.
b) Part-bred Horses which have Pure-Bred Hispano-Árabe ancestry that is not registered with the Spanish
State Authority may be eligible for registration if the Hispano-Árabe ancestry can be shown to be pure.
Application for registration must be accompanied by a photocopy of all the relevant papers (sire, dam, etc),
a record of all changes of ownership since birth, and the appropriate registration fee.
c) Part-bred Horses whose Hispano-Árabe ancestry is already registered with Hispano-Árabe UK are
automatically eligible for registration. Breed specific passports with full pedigree will be provided for
foal inscriptions through Hispano-Árabe UK from the Sport Horse of Great Britain who will register these
horses as Sports Horses eligible for grading under the regulations of that Association.

Register IIIa
: OTHER HISPANO-ÁRABE
Horses Pure-bred or believed to be Pure-bred, but not eligible for registration with the Spanish State
Authority may be eligible for registration here if the Hispano-Árabe ancestry can be shown to be pure.
Please note this is a temporary registry to encompass existing horses outside the scope of the Stud Book,
but will not be open to such horses born after 2011 as breeding for the Hispano-Árabe should be carried
out now in compliance with Stud Book regulations,and under EU legislation; horses can only be defined
as Hispano-Árabe if inscribed in the Stud Book for the Breed. All applications must be accompanied by
all relevant documents.
